Current General

Current Account can be opened by properly introduced Individuals, associations, Partnership Firms, Proprietorship Firms, Societies and corporate entities.
The account may be introduced by existing account holder; who should be customer of the Bank for a minimum period of six months with satisfactorily conducted account. .

Documents / Formalities Required for Opening of New Account

An Individual:
1. Two passport size photograph.
2. Citizenship Identity Card / Pass port Photocopies.
3. An Introduction by our Bank’s Current Account Holder having 6 months old Account.
4. Address proof

Sole Proprietorship
1. Citizenship Identity Card / Pass port Photocopies
2. Photocopy of Trade license.
3. An Introduction by our Bank’s Current Account Holder having 6 months old Account.
4. Two passport size Photograph of the persons operating the account.

Partnership Firms
1. Copy of Partnership Deed
2. Photocopy of Trade license
3. An Introduction by our Bank’s Current Account Holder having 6 months old Account.
4. Two passport size photograph of the persons operating the account.

Limited Companies
1. Copy of Memorandum & Article of Association
2. Copy of Resolution Board of Directors of the company to open & operate the Account.
3. Certificate of incorporation of the Company.
4. Two passport size photograph each of the authorised person to operate the account.
5. Photocopy of Trade license.

General Rules
•     Cheque Book facility will be allowed to all account holder except to Illiterate or blind customers.
•     There is no restriction of withdrawal of any amount from the current account.
•     An account may be transferred from one branch to another branch of the Bank, free of charge on written request of the depositor.
•     One Interest Certificate and one Balance Certificate in every year will be issued on request without any charges.
•     Minimum deposit for opening of account will be Nu.1000/-. Minimum Quarterly Average Balance (QAB) on ongoing basis will be Nu.5000/-.
